A Call to All Amateur Radio Operators! At the end of the month, specifically March 28–29, 2009, the CQ WPX Contest (SSB section) will take place, with the OM0A team participating, consisting of: Viliam OM0AAO, Martin OM4AAS, Mima OM4AQW, Igor OM6ACI, Peťo OM6PR, and Števo OM7KW. We’ll be QRV from Tatranská Lomnica in the High Tatras. We’ll be operating on all bands with the following antennas:
160m: inverted L antenna
80m: inverted V + beverage on the north-east
40m: 1/4 vertical
20m: 2-element DK7ZB Yagi
15m: 2-element DK7ZB Yagi
10m: vertical
This is the first time our team will participate in a similar event with this lineup. We would therefore greatly appreciate any contacts or sightings of OM0A posted to the DX cluster. We especially ask OK/OM stations to make contacts on the lower bands, which will encourage our operators for future contests as well.
QSL cards will be sent to all OK/OM stations primarily via the bureau. We look forward to hearing from you!
