We’ve finally received the first results from the OM0A team. These are the results of the 2009 CQ WPX Contest (SSB section), in which we placed first in Slovakia and 16th in Europe. This should also be a new Slovak record.
We scored 1,807,485 points for 1,409 contacts and 615 multipliers. A cross-check of the logbooks cost us 67 contacts and nearly 12.5% of our points. This result is average, but since it was the very first experience with a major international contest for some operators, it’s excellent.
OM0A is also preparing for the 2010 CQ WPX Contest, which will take place on March 27–28, 2010.
