The biggest HF amateur radio contest, the CQ WW DX Contest SSB, is fast approaching. This weekend, October 27–28, 2012, from 00:00 to 23:59 GMT, OM0A (op. OM0AAO) will be among the contestants on the 40-meter band. The low-power (100 W) category is quite challenging on this band, which is dominated by “big gun” stations with high power outputs. However, no one can choose the propagation conditions, and hopefully they will be favorable.
