The CQWW 160m Contest—SSB section—takes place at the end of February and beginning of March. It begins on February 27 at 22:00Z and ends on March 1 at 22:00Z; a single operator may operate for only 30 hours. The exchange consists of RS followed by the abbreviation of a U.S. state or Canadian province, or the CQ zone number for other stations. Contacts within one’s own country are worth 2 points, within the same continent 5 points, and to another continent 10 points.
Multipliers include U.S. states, Canadian provinces, DXCC countries, and WAE. The final score is calculated by multiplying the total points for contacts by the number of multipliers. Click on the CQ logo to view the contest rules.
