The 2013 CQWW RTTY Contest starts in just a few hours! This 48-hour world championship in amateur radio using digital RTTY mode begins on September 28 at 00:00 UT and ends on September 29 at 23:59 UT. The contest takes place on the 80m, 40m, 20m, 15m, and 10m bands. The contest code is RST plus the zone. Stations from the U.S. and Canada also include the abbreviation for their state or province. OM0A will compete in the SOAB LP ass. category, i.e., one operator on all bands with power up to 100W and using a DX cluster. A new feature this year will be a SO2R setup consisting of a remote station plus a real TCVR with a multiband suspended antenna. The log will be N1MM.
