Low-power contests are a challenge. You won’t know until you try. The Slovak amateur radio portal CQ.sk is organizing a QRP contest on VHF, which will take place on Sunday of the first weekend in August (August 2, 2020) from 07:00 to 13:00 UTC on the 144 MHz band.
During the contest, OM0A is expected to operate from one of two mountain peaks: Považský Inovec, from where I participated in this contest in 2018, or the new peak, Homôlka.
If you’re on the air at that time, call the contestants and have some fun too! If you decide to take on the low-power challenge, I’m rooting for you!
