1) The Slovak amateur radio portal CQ.sk is organizing a VHF QRP contest, which will take place on Sunday of the first weekend in August (August 6, 2017) from 07:00 to 13:00 UTC on the 144 MHz band.
2) Categories:
1. Single and multi-operator—transmitter power up to 10 W from a single power amplifier, any QTH
3) Modulation: CW, SSB, and FM.
4) Code: RS(T), connection serial number starting at 001, and WW locator.
5) For each station, one valid connection may be counted toward the contest, provided that the complete contest code was exchanged and confirmed by both stations.
6) Scoring: 1 point is awarded for every kilometer of distance covered.
7) The contest log is accepted in EDI electronic format in accordance with Section 13 of the General Terms and Conditions for VHF Contests and Competitions. It must be sent by email or regular mail to the evaluator’s address no later than the tenth day after the contest. Address: Viliam Petrík, Tatranská Lomnica 193, 059 60, or log(@)cq.sk.
8) Contest stations are not registered. However, it is advisable, in your own interest, to publish the station occupancy on the packet radio network and on the Internet.
9) Unless otherwise specified, the General Terms and Conditions for VHF Contests and Competitions, effective as of July 1, 2011, apply in all other respects.
