The Slovak amateur radio portal CQ.sk is organizing a VHF QRP contest, which will take place on Sunday of the first weekend in August (August 5, 2018) from 07:00 to 13:00 UTC on the 144 MHz band.
OM0A (op. OM0AAO) will be QRV from the Považský Inovec peak, JN98as. The setup will consist of a battery-powered Kenwood TR-751E and a 6-element DKZ7ZB antenna on a portable mast. The weather forecast for Považský Inovec on Sunday is favorable, so I’m looking forward to sharing QSOs on 144 MHz!
