Viliam OM0AAO, operating under the call sign MW9W, took first place in Wales in the SO Assisted 160m category of the 2008 CQ WW SSB Contest. With 448 valid QSOs to 60 DXCCs, he scored 34,448 points, which is also a new record in this category in Wales.
