A contest I've never participated in. So far, something has always come up that has prevented me from taking part, even though the contest rules are interesting and the date is good, too. Hopefully, it will finally work out this year.
The European HF Championship will take place on Saturday, August 4, 2012, from 12:00 to 23:59 UT. The contest is held on the 160–10 m HF bands in CW, SSB, and MIX modes, in two power categories: LOW and HIGH. Only contacts between European stations are valid. The exchange code is RS(T) plus the two-digit year in which the operator received his or her first license, e.g., 59 75. The DX cluster is permitted.
