The next "major" contest is July 14–15, 2012: the IARU HF Championship. The contest is held on the classic HF bands (160–10 m) in both SSB and CW. The exchange consists of a report plus the ITU zone. Special IARU stations report the zone as AC, R1, R2, or R3. National HQ teams report the abbreviation of their amateur radio organization. OM0A will be operated by Viliam OM0AAO in the SOAB HP category. Operation will be exclusively SSB. Antennas are available for all bands: 160m and 80m inverted-V, 40m vertical, and 20-15-10m Moxon tribander. The power output will be approximately 250–350W.
