This is what the first remote station test looked like a few years ago. The remote server is a refurbished PC from PHC (Pentium 1.5 GHz)—and it’s still up and running! The RF section consists of a Yaesu FT-1000MP, including a modified transistor power amplifier.
After moving and eventually leaving the QTH, I looked for a partner. I found one at the Manín Radio Club, where, thanks to their interest and understanding, the remote station is coming back to life. We’re currently conducting tests and working on sharing the antennas that the radio club has at this QTH.
I look forward to hearing from you, friends!
