Via the QO-100 satellite, it is possible to make contacts with several continents. New stations are being added practically every day. My log contains 193 contacts with stations from 44 DXCC countries. The longest contact was a 10,351 km contact with PY2GN to the GG56TV square.
Setup Change for QO-100
The configuration of my station has been modified. I am testing a modified SSPA with an MRF21045. The PA is working well even in the experimental phase, but I haven’t been able to tune it precisely to 2.4 GHz. It can be tuned to 2.36 GHz and operates at higher frequencies as well, but with poorer impedance matching and lower gain. The estimated output power is approximately 10 W.
