Records in CQ Contests

Part of the competition involves surpassing certain milestones, such as records. Just as athletes compete, amateur radio operators in contests—amateur radio competitions—achieve outstanding results. It’s often not easy. Try to imagine being at work for 48 hours straight. It’s a battle against sleep, a battle for concentration and endurance. But that, too, is what contests are all about.
