I have been a radio amateur for more than ten years, especially construction and contesting. I started on CB, where as a member of the team K120 am “frozen” dozens of expeditions in the Tatra, which, however, paid off, for example, by winning the Portable League and other competitions. At that time I was actively devoted to 11 meter band.
Since I started regularly participate in the amateur contests, separately for the first VHF, later in the club OM3RKP also VHF. Since gaining access to the HF to work in this area only, primarily contesting (CQWW, IARU HF, SSB Liga, OMAC and other).
In 2005 I became the winner of 1st Subregional contest on VHF. In CQWW SSB Contest 2007 I got in the team MW5W first place in Wales. In the year 2007/08 OM Activity contest I occupied the second place in the category of SSB QRO. in UBA Contest 2008 I took 5th place in category A80LP, in HA DX Contest on 4th place in 80m SSB High category.
