This, why did the recording of connections from contests stop working? I was brought up by a similar problem from VKV PA. The N1MM+ diary shares connection data using the UDP protocol. However, if several programs claim the data at the same time, a problem arises. It happened during some update, that PSTRotator started using the mentioned data and thus prevented the recording from working. It was enough to ensure, that qsorder will be the only program, who uses them and it already works. So you can listen to recordings from the August round of the OM Activity Contest.
The OM Activity Contest has changed the rules. Competing stations have added 5 kHz in addition. It will probably take some time, until this news takes hold among the contestants, but the first stations were already using it.
Since I missed the SSB League a week earlier, I was curious how it would go in the OM Activity Contest. The broadcasting conditions in the SSB League were not good, and many stations did so 20% fewer connections than usual.
They were not good in the OM Activity Contest either. Connections were slow and signals were dominated by variability. For some minutes the signals weakened, after a while they got stronger and so on. After the initial connection with OK1DD:
called Jožko first OM4DU, but during the connection he was lost. The second in the diary is Michal OK1FUU:
Tibor presented himself with an excellent signal OM7CF:
Experience from a number of competitions is a virtue of Peter OM6TX. Even with a weak signal, it can extract QRP signals:
I struggled the most with the connection with the Government OK1FUJ. I called him about 3 times at different times during the OM Activity Contest. And not only me. I heard multiple stations, which tried to connect, but they didn't dare. I finally succeeded:
It's at the end 42 contacts. Stretched out, but surprisingly until 20 could bring multipliers 840 points.
But there were many more stations on the band, which I either didn't hear or they didn't hear me. Here are the announced recordings:
