Shorter days and a windy weather forecast with cooling was not exactly an ideal invitation for a portable VHF activity. But despite that, I prepared the whole setup in the car and went to Černecký vrch, JN88RS.
Yes, it blows. Yes, it's winter. Of course, the mooring cables are a bit tangled. Not to hang around in the summer, when one's fingers do not break, they have to mess around when it's not pleasant. But I have already tried the whole procedure so many times, that I can handle it.

I also manage to check the azimuth of the rotator according to the beacon OE3XTR. Since I have multiple windows on my laptop monitor, so I use the extension to the second screen. In the past, I also tried an old LCD monitor, but I didn't have enough space for it. So I used the app spacedesk, which turns the mobile phone into a second display. On it I had a PSTRotor window and a locator square map window from N1MM+.

So I'm starting VKV PA in an unconventional way: on time and everything works. Compared to September, the propagation conditions seem weaker to me. Fewer callers come to my call. But it will surprise I4GHG (680 km) and later also I3QJZ (578 km).
OK1DSZ a DP9X
For the second hour I try German stations. When tuning by band, I registered several in connection with other stations. Zdenek OK1DSZ alerts me, that a few kHz below is another OK station and therefore my signal is probably not well received. At least it will pass DP9X (502 km).
DDB7MM/P a OL1B
Later, the connection with DB7MM/P. Although "only" 432 km, but Michael adds the JN59 locator. And he immediately calls for him OL1B and Mirek adds another multiplier, JO80. The second class was not very successful. Added 25 contacts.
Connection with OM0AB reflection from the aircraft
At the beginning of the third hour SP6KEP adds JO90. I see on the KST chat OM0AB. I am writing to Jozef right away, that I am putting a challenge in his direction. A suitable plane just flies by. However, I cannot hear the OM0AB signal. I write to Jožek repeatedly. The answer is none. I try and see, that in a moment there will be another chance. Yes, now the OM0AB signal can be heard - not very strong, but completely understandable. Thanks for KN08 and patience!

Hubert OK1MHU adds the JN69 locator. Several OK stations follow. The last two in the log are 9A6A and 9A4OP. Is here 94 contacts, come on 30 násobičov. After recalculation it gives 10620 points. More than I expected.
Year of studies 2023 VKV PA
In this year VKV PA I achieve 80168 points, twice as much as the previous year. There is a lot of work on the antennas behind it, preamplifiers and many other small things. The move to Černecký vrch from Brestovci. However, I also broadcast consumption with KN08bv, King's club. Here I brought out the entire technique myself. I missed a single round, in July. In severe frosts in December I focused on testing some things and the result was rather symbolic. However, each round gave some new insights and inspirations.
