For a year 2005 the only VKV contest is held in Slovakia in August, which is aimed at the use of low powers or even QRP: OM VHF LOW POWER Contest. The Alpe Adria Contest takes place on the same date, OK QRP Contest and other contests. So mark August 6 in your calendar 2023!
The advantage is, that summer usually calls for portables and quotas, which are, for example, "reserved" in sub-regional contexts, other radio amateurs will also get access. The second plus is, that the level of interference tends to be lower due to smaller powers.
Depending on the weather and possibilities, I will consider either Černecký hill JN88RS or Velka Javorina JN88UU, but with a smaller antenna system. we'll see. I look forward to seeing you!
